Cycling Portraits

So a friend asked for some pictures for her cycling team.  I agreed to the project on the condition that I could use the images here on my blog.  We set out to do the photos near the house up on a road that ends at the top.  This provided us a decent background a good view.  The biggest problem we faced was the wind.  We used the FJ Westcott Rapid Octobox 26″.  I knew ahead of time that I was going to have to be filling for the sun so I opted to leave the beauty dish out.  For lens selection I decided to keep it simple and used the Nikon 17-55 DX F/2.8 lens for the duration of the shoot.  For strobe I used a Nikon SB-910.  These image have zero edits so please let me know if you have suggestions for improving them.
